Uproot was started by a husband and wife who were tired of waiting around for movers and haulers that never showed. We built the company we wished existed: fast, fair, and friendly. Today our trucks run across Northern Virginia seven days a week.

WHY WE STARTED
Tired of the runaround.
We got fed up with the same problems everyone else faces: vague pricing models where a "quote" somehow doubles once the truck is loaded, hidden fees tacked on after the job's done, and companies that treat showing up as optional. We started Uproot to be the junk removal company that just does what it says.
That means clear pricing upfront, no surprise surcharges, and actually arriving when we say we will. Simple stuff, but apparently hard to find.
The frustrations we heard
